About The Grad Connector
What is the Grad Connector?
The Grad Connector is an online platform helping Australian university graduates find internships, graduate and employment opportunities within Australia’s data centre and digital infrastructure industry.
Does it cost to use The Grad Connector?
The Grad Connector is free for students to search for internships and graduate programs. The platform is also free for industry users to create a company profile and promote their internship and graduate programs to graduates.
Who is this for?
The Grad Connector is designed for Australian university & tertiary education graduates of any age, from any faculty, to find internships and graduate programs in the data centre & digital infrastructure industry. It is also a platform for the industry to share their internship and graduate program details, promoting to interns and graduates.
Why is the Grad Connector so important?
Data centres are the engines that run the world. Yet surprisingly, few people know they exist and how integral they are to everyday life.
Through iMasons’ Industry Awareness Nights and Data Centre Tours, we hope to increase graduates’ knowledge of the DC & DI industry and the broad career paths it presents for a range of professions.
Once graduates are aware of these opportunities, the Grad Connector helps them discover internships and graduate programs to launch their careers in the DC & DI industry; a field facing severe skills shortages as “The Silver Tsunami” prepares for retirement.
Some of the types of jobs that exist in a data centre are...
- Network Engineer
- Field Service Engineer
- Technology Engineer
- Electrical Infrastructure Engineer
- Mechanical Engineer
- Chief Facility Engineer
- Consulting Engineer
- Civil Engineer
- Environmental Engineer
- Sales / Marketing
- Recruitment
The Grad Connector is more than just a marketplace for internships; head to our Resources & Events tabs to discover a hub full of industry podcasts, YouTube channels, magazines, competitions, networking events & data centre tours.
